On Wednesday the father of a girl who perished gave pictures to the local media.
희생된 여학생의 아버지가 지난 수요일, 이 영상을 현지 언론에 건넸습니다.
Those pictures were taken by the girl on her cell phone inside the Sewol.
이 이미지들은 세월호 안에서 이 여학생이 휴대폰으로 찍은 것입니다.
The images are blurred to protect identities of students, but their words convey the rising panic as the ship leans heavily to one side.
학생들의 신원을 보호하기 위해 영상을 흐릿하게 만들었지만 배가 심하게 한 쪽으로 기울며 학생들이 하는 말들은 공포에 떠는 모습을 그대로 전해줍니다.
Student A: I hear a helicopter.
학생 A: 헬리콥터 소리가 들려.
Student B: Hey guys, this isn’t the way it’s supposed to be. How do they make the turn? It should be like this normally.
학생 B: 얘들아, 이건 좀 이상해. 방향을 어떻게 바꾸지? 원래는 이렇게 하는거야.
Student A: I’m tired. Help. Help.

They’re jumping into the sea.

Student A: I want to see my mom.
학생 A: 우리 엄마 보고 싶어.
Student B: Don’t worry, we’re gonna live. I’ll see you then.
학생 B: 걱정마, 다 살아날거야. 살아서 보자.
I’m so scared. I’m so scared. This is the hall way. Save us.
나 정말 무서워. 정말 무서워. 여기가 복도야. 구해줘요.
